Trivet and Coaster Sets

So one of my best friends Kristin is getting married this summer. Today was the bridal shower. These are the tile trivet and coaster sets I made for her.

I bought the tiles from Lowes and stamped the images with black StazOn. After baking the tiles for 30-45 minutes in the oven at 350 degrees, I let the tiles cool down and I sprayed them with a clear sealant.

I also gave her this card to go along with her beautiful gift.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week! I'm off to pass out, listening to the wonderful sounds of the rain outside my window!

Bridal Shower Prizes

Here are the prizes I made for the games we will be playing at Kristin's Bridal Shower on Sunday.

Here are the four cards I made that I am going to give out together as one prize. I think they turned out really cute!!

Here are the envelopes for the mini-note cards. I made all of these by hand since I didn't have any on hand and also didn't have a template for them.

This is the outside of a lip balm holder. I saw this idea on Splitcoast and decided it would be a cute prize to give away. The stamps are from an old SU Hostess Set called "Reason to Smile." I love the butterfly!!

Here is the inside of the holder. A girl can never have too much lip balm!
I love the sentiment. Thank you Chris for this set!!! I LOVE IT!!!

I think this card turned out super cute. I love the colors!!

Here is a card that has a bookmark as a part of the card. I think it turned out nice. I got the idea from a fellow stamper on Splitcoast.

Here is the bookmark by itself. I like this idea a lot!!

Here is another bookmark idea I got off of Splitcoast. Cute huh? So easy to make!!

Here are some gift tags I made - aren't they cute??

Well I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!! Enjoy the weather!! I love Spring time....

Sweet 16

Here is the beautiful card I made for my brother's girlfriend. Her Sweet 16th Birthday is today and I thought she would like this card from me. I based it off my very first swap I made when I was a SU demonstrator.

Have a wonderful week!

Scratch n' Sniff

I wanted to share with you all this really cute card that I made awhile ago at one of Chris' fun stamp camps. Although you won't be able to smell it, we made a scratch n' sniff card. We used black cherry Kool Aid mixed with clear embossing powder. We stamped the cherries, then used a Versamark pen to apply the embossing powder to just the cherries, and lastly heated the powder. I have had the card for about a year now and it still smells like cherries!! Well I hope I inspired you all to try this out. I love the idea =) Have a great week!

Fun Past Projects...

I was cleaning out my craft storage boxes and came across these cards I made awhile back and thought that they were too good to pass up sharing. I believe they are 5" x 5" cards. They fold close like a card board box would. My friend and fellow blogger Chris came up with the idea and let me use her materials to create them!! I miss our crazy fun stamp camps!!!

Thanks for stopping by!! Have a wonderful night!
